The climate in this part of the Willamette Valley is temperate, summers are 75 to 85 most of the time with a breeze and winters temperatures range between 25 and 45 . It is rainy but that is why we are  green and is why you have an indoor arena, we do get some snow ( last year we had none and the year before we had 32 inches at Christmas) .  If you like the snow you can get in the truck and drive into the mountains behind you or head to Mt Hood to ski 1 1/2 hours away. Compared to some we are a easy commute to 4 major cities by  I-5 to Portland, Springfield, Eugene, Salem and coastal cities.  Salem is 30 minutes away, West Portland is 1 hour,  Portland and PDX airport are 1:30.
